Our Clinic's Covid Rules

AHT is now adjusting our Covid 19 rules. MASKS WILL STILL BE REQUIRED, VACCINATED OR UNVACCINATED while in our clinic as we are a healthcare setting. As of June 1st, 2020 if you are fully vaccinated, you do not have to follow any Covid rules outside of the clinic to be able to come in for appointments.

If you are unvaccinated or do not wish to share your vaccinated status, please read the following to understand the rules for your next visit.

Please wait in your car until a few minutes before your appointment time. You will be screened upon arrival for your appointment or you can fill out the emailed Covid-19 questions before your appointment.

Before your appointment, the receptionist will take your temperature and ask you the following questions:

#1) Do you have a fever?

#2) Do you have any of the following signs or symptoms?

New onset of: cough? Sore throat? Shortness of breath? Difficulty breathing? New loss or decrease in sense of taste or smell? Runny nose? Sneezing (not allergy related)? Nasal congestion? Chills? Headache? Unexplained fatigue or malaise? Difficulty swallowing? Nausea/vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal pain?

#3) Have you been indoors with a group of people outside of your pod WITHOUT wearing a mask?

***If you answered yes, you will need to reschedule your appointment. Regardless of the current or dated Executive orders, AHT can only see patients wearing masks while indoors with groups of people other than your immediate bubble. AHT sees many patients with compromised immune systems so we have strict rules about who is currently allowed in the clinic.

#4) Have you traveled outside of Michigan in the last 14 days?

Please wait 14 days before returning to the clinic.

#5) Have you or anyone in your household had close contact with anyone with respiratory illness or a confirmed or probable/suspected case of COVID-19 in the last 14 days?

#6) If yes to #5, do you work in the medical field and did you wear the required and/or recommended PPE according to the type of duties you were performing (e.g., goggles, gloves, mask and gown or N95 with aerosol generating) medical procedures when you had close contact with a suspected or confirmed case of COVID-19?
