Our Clinic's Covid Rules

AHT will continue to follow strict regulations to make sure our clinic is safe and clean for our patients and employees, even when there is no longer a State of Emergency in Michigan.

All employees and patients are required to WEAR A MASK AT ALL TIMES while in the clinic. Please ask reception for a mask if you do not have one. The newest recommendation is to wear a double mask to ensure that there isnt any air leakage from the mask. Thank you for cooperation and we hope to see you again soon!

Please read the following to understand the rules for your next visit.

Please wait in your car until a few minutes before your appointment time. Call the clinic at (734) 707-8890 to let us know you have arrived and we will let you know if reception is open for you to be screened.

Before your appointment, the receptionist will take your temperature and ask you the following questions:

#1) Do you have a fever?

#2) Do you have any of the following signs or symptoms?

New onset of: cough? Sore throat? Shortness of breath? Difficulty breathing? New loss or decrease in sense of taste or smell? Runny nose? Sneezing (not allergy related)? Nasal congestion? Chills? Headache? Unexplained fatigue or malaise? Difficulty swallowing? Nausea/vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal pain?

#3) Have you been indoors with a group of people WITHOUT wearing a mask? (This includes indoor dining) We understand that it may be frustrating to wait 14 days after indoor dining, but we appreciate your honesty. We will revisit this policy as new science-based facts come out in regards to transmission, safety, and vaccinations.

***If you answered yes, you will need to reschedule your appointment. Regardless of the current or dated Executive orders, AHT can only see patients wearing masks while indoors with groups of people other than your immediate bubble. AHT sees many patients with compromised immune systems so we have strict rules about who is currently allowed in the clinic.

#4) Have you traveled outside of Michigan in the last 14 days?

If you're vaccinated, you can still keep your appointment. If you are NOT vaccinated, please wait 14 days before returning to the clinic.

#5) Have you or anyone in your household had close contact with anyone with respiratory illness or a confirmed or probable/suspected case of COVID-19 in the last 14 days?

#6) If yes to #5, do you work in the medical field and did you wear the required and/or recommended PPE according to the type of duties you were performing (e.g., goggles, gloves, mask and gown or N95 with aerosol generating) medical procedures when you had close contact with a suspected or confirmed case of COVID-19?
