Dr. Andrea Sweet, PT, DPT

Andrea is a licensed physical therapist. She received her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Central Michigan University in 2014 and her Bachelor of Science degree in kinesiology with a specialization in health promotion from Michigan State University in 2010. She began her CranioSacral journey in 2019 with training through the Upledger Institute.

Once she completed her first level of training in CranioSacral, she began incorporating it into her practice and immediately saw results. Some clients she used it with were finding pain and symptom relief that they hadn't been able to experience in years. She knew rather quickly this was something special and decided to continue her journey with CranioSacral. Eventually, she decided she wanted to focus more on this practice and expand the type of clients she could see which led her to complete pediatric training. She loves to learn and is excited to continue to grow her skills through both experience and ongoing coursework. Andrea believes strongly in the power of touch and has found great value in providing hands-on treatment to clients. She also believes in the body's own ability to heal itself but that sometimes it just needs a little help unlocking that potential. She loves to be able to help facilitate that process for clients through this work. She sees each client as a partner in care since each client is central to their own healing journey and it is important to work together in that journey for the best outcomes.

Nina McDermott, Reiki Master

Nina is a certified Reiki Master but attributes her greatest credentials to the lifelong study of turning inward. Over 30 years ago, Nina attended her first 10 day silent Vipassana meditation retreat and considers it a significant step on her journey of understanding the power of introspection and stillness for transformational change. Her knowledge of healing comes from the school of self, where she learned the commonality of all beings and how a person must journey to find the treasure of profound and lasting self love.

In addition to helping clients heal and transform with the power of Reiki, Nina has led meditation to children and adults in schools, on retreats and at special events. Tarot and music are other tools she uses to help clients see, and accept with love, the gifts in trauma, pain and struggle and how to use them to become happy and free.
