Meet the Practitioners

Dr. Meagan Bretz, L.Ac., DACM, FABORM

Dr. Meagan is nationally board certified by the NCCAOM as a Diplomat of Oriental Medicine, which includes acupuncture as well as Chinese herbal medicine. She is a Licensed Acupuncturist in Michigan. She graduated from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine where she completed four years of rigorous academic study and an additional 600+ hours of clinical work and then completed her Doctorate in 2021. In addition to acupuncture and herbal medicine, Meagan uses cupping, moxa, and electrical stimulation to treat her patients in clinic.

Meagan is also a Fellow of the American Board of Oriental Reproductive Medicine (ABORM). This fellowship makes Meagan a specialist in reproductive medicine including areas such as Infertility (female and male), IVF and other Assisted Reproductive Therapies, as well as general OB/GYN conditions.

During her undergraduate career at Loyola University Chicago where she received her B.A. in Advertising and Public Relations, Meagan suffered from asthma and frequent insomnia. Her positive experiences with acupuncture not only got her off of Western prescriptions, but also lead her toward a new career path in Traditional Chinese Medicine. Meagan has a passion for herbal medicine and encourages her patients to take herbal formulas as a way for patients to bring the treatments home and become more involved in their healing process.

Meagan understands the importance of the patient/practitioner relationship, and therefore places great emphasis on making sure her patients feel comfortable and listened to. With her focus on patient care, Meagan treats a variety of conditions with a focus on Fertility, Reproductive health, Gastrointestinal disorders, and pain management.

Dr Meagan is currently only accepting new patients if it is fertility or women's health related
